You can close your Dikivo account at any time, with no justification. This page describes the procedure, what is erased, what is kept, and how long it takes.
1. From the app (fastest)
- Open Dikivo and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings, then My account.
- Choose Delete my account.
- Confirm as prompted. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
2. By email
If you can no longer access the app, write to contact@dikivo.app from the email address of your account, with the subject “Account deletion”.
We confirm receipt and then delete the account within 30 days at most. If the request comes from another address, we may ask for something that verifies the account is yours, without ever requesting more identification than necessary.
3. What is deleted
- Your account and sign in credentials.
- Every child profile you created in the household: first name, date of birth, gender, avatar.
- All routines, step cards, completions, stars and rewards.
- Progress history and independence reports.
- Your preferences, notification tokens and session tokens.
4. What is kept, and why
| Data | Period | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Billing records tied to a subscription | 10 years | Accounting obligation (French Commercial Code) |
| Technical security logs | 12 months maximum | Service security and fraud prevention |
| Anonymised usage statistics | No limit | This data can no longer identify you |
5. If a second parent shares your household
If another adult joined your household, deleting your account does not delete theirs. The household data stays available to the remaining account, which then becomes solely responsible for deleting it. To erase everything, each account must make its own request.
6. Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings before deleting your Dikivo account, otherwise you will keep being charged.
- iPhone and iPad: Settings, your name, Subscriptions.
- Android: Google Play, profile picture, Payments and subscriptions.
7. Can it be undone?
No. Deletion is permanent: routines, history and child profiles cannot be restored. If you only want to erase part of your data, use partial deletion instead.
Deletion request: contact@dikivo.app · Answer within one month at most.
